Don’t waste your money. I purchased the Alder Wood shaving bowl. The wood must have been so dry that the very first time I started to use it, the wood swelled and it cracked. I obtained a replacement bowl after several attempts with their customer service. The second bowl also has issues. Again the wood swells when you use water, so this time the bottom of the bowl is warped and doesn’t lie flat. Honestly, it’s no more than a $20 wood bowl that you can probably find on Etsy, that they charge $70! Have to admit that the soaps and aftershave products are top notch. But this is a very poor item not up to this company’s brand reputation.
