Desert Vetiver Eau de Parfum + Shower Soap Duo

$138

Our Eau de Parfum in the 100ml size is the perfect finishing touch for your shave and grooming ritual.

It is created using premium oils typical of a high-quality perfume with the fragrance characteristics of our Desert Vetiver collection.

Our premium bath soaps are 100% vegetable soaps produced with no palm oil. They are crafted using the Marseilles method of artisanal soap production which ensures a creamy lather that nourishes the skin and provides deep moisture.

The Desert Vetiver soap is inspired by two very unique plants and their ability to adapt and strive in the most hostile environment on earth: the desert.

The first is the Vetiver plant from the Mojave desert in California, where it has been used as a "nurse" plant to jump start native re-vegetation and to ensure the continued survival of native seedlings in adverse conditions. We discovered that the arid environment of the desert enhances the delicate fragrance of this plant.

The second is coming from the oils extracted from fruits of the Desert Date tree, high in fatty acids, vitamins A and E and well known for its marked moisturizing and protective properties for a nourished and firm skin.

Each round soap is individually wrapped and packaged in an elegant gift box embossed in metallic foil with the unique symbology of the Saponificio Varesino brand and collection to which it belongs.

The cauldron production process, or Marseilles method, used for our soap represents the artisan tradition by which man has created soap for centuries. It is the skill, experience and eyes of the maker and not the management of machines or mechanical processes that brings the soap to life.

In a first phase called saponification, the fats – mainly consisting of glycerides and fatty acids – are converted into sodium salt. This operation must be carried out so that the resulting product is of good quality and suitable to be subjected to further steps of processing. From this first phase, it is therefore necessary to obtain a soap mass generally containing 30% water, with the least possible amount of alkali and electrolytes, as well as glycerol whose recovery is an economic factor of this process.

That mass is then further cooked, washed and liquified before being poured into soap molds and left to cure until the bars are hand-cut in our workshop.

Just as in the tradition then, we still produce soap with this ancient and natural method, which ensures a final product of top quality with excellent cleaning power but also serves as a very gentle and soothing treatment that results in softer and more elastic skin with repeated usage over time.

A composition with warm and enveloping notes. The blend of Elemi, Incense, Orange and Artemisia flare up in the flowery, peppery, spicy heart. A multifaceted sillage of Black Pepper, Juniper Berries, Oregano and Lavander swarms towards an elegant woody background sublimated by the precious Vetiver, the fresh Cloves and the seductive notes of Amber for a fragrance with a virile and unforgettable character.
